What do you charge for your services?
My typical hourly rate is $75. For most projects, I quote a project fee that takes into account the time involvement required, the project complexity, and whether the project requires starting from scratch or allows me to build on prior research and planning (which reduces the fee).
For all services, I provide a free, 20-minute initial phone consultation to all new clients. Once I have a good understanding of the services you are wanting, I will provide you with a project quote and simple contract to consider.
How does the process work?
Step 1: Easy! Just contact me via the webform on the contact page, email, or phone to schedule your free, 20-minute phone consultation to discuss my services and your needs.
If desired, I will follow-up our phone consultation within 2-3 days by sending you a project quote and simple contract to consider, as well as a request for any additional information needed.
Step 2: If you decide you want to proceed with the project, simply sign and email or snail mail the contract back, along with your 50% deposit.
Step 3: Once I receive your contract and deposit (and any additional information requested, if applicable), I start your research or plan.
Step 4: As I near the completion of your plan or research, I will contact you to schedule the final project consultation and request your remaining payment.
Step 5: Once the final payment is received, we will meet for 20-30 minutes to discuss your plan or research and I will answer any questions you may have (final project consultation).
Step 6: Once you have all the details and options, you can make an informed decision with your family and implement the plan. Yay!
*If you want assistance with implementation, please let me know. I can always include this in the project quote as well.
How long do you usually work with clients?
As all services are customized, the length of projects is based on clients’ needs and budgets, as well as the complexity of the project. For projects focused on researching camps or educational options, the research is typically completed within 1-2 weeks. For family organization and household management services, we may decide on an overall project length of a week or two for a simple project, or we may decide to work together for a period of one-to-two months on an ongoing project focused on a variety of household organizational issues. Some clients may decide to work with me periodically over several years as family needs and challenges change.
What if I decide not to use the resources you have researched or my child doesn’t like a camp option you provided?
I always strive for exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. Nevertheless, I cannot guarantee that a particular camp or other childcare or resource option will live up to expectations. As you are the expert on your family, the Enriched Family model is to provide parents with the best options, based on their specifications, from which to choose.
Do you receive a finder’s or referral fee from the camps, schools, or other resources that you recommend?
No; Enriched Family research and services are tailored to clients’ needs and preferences. I want to find the best resources for your family.
Do you provide organizational consulting?
Yes! Drawing on my background in public policy, specifically research and evaluation, benchmarking, planning, survey development, and organizational management and communications, I occasionally take on organizational consulting projects with local schools, organizations, and business owners. While projects are based on client needs and interests, I am particularly passionate about helping organizations clarify and quantify their vision, goals, and success strategies; effectively integrate and implement these goals and strategies seamlessly into everyday operations and evaluate their impact; as well as communicate their vision and goals persuasively. Please contact me if you are interested in organizational consulting services.
