Spring Break 2021 is less than two weeks away! After everything we have been through with the snowpocalypse and ongoing infrastructure & supply issues in Texas, on top of the pandemic, Spring Break very well may have sneaked up on you. In an effort to make your life easier, I have compiled a list of camps offering sessions the week of March 15-19. While the list is not exhaustive, it provides a variety of options. I focused on including camps located in different areas in or near Austin, with a variety of price points. I have included both full-day camps, as well as half-day camps, and drop-in care. In addition, I have paid special attention to including care options for little ones as well as older children.
Please be advised that you will have to make the best decision for your family in terms of whether a particular camp or care option meets your family’s desired degree of COVID precautions. I have included COVID information for each care option, as available, so you can make an informed decision. In addition, I have included both online and in-person camps on a variety of topics, as well as some outdoor camps.

All-Star Sports Camp at SoccerZone Lakeline
Details: All-Star Sports Camp gives campers the opportunity to learn teamwork and sportsmanship through a variety of fun, team-based games and activities. Camp activities include soccer, kickball, basketball, flag-football, capture the flag, arts and crafts, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, bounce house, volleyball, wiffle ball, obstacle course, splash day, and more! ATX Ballers CoEd Basketball Spring Break Camp
Details: ATX Ballers Youth Basketball Camps. FREE outdoor basketball camp! PreK-6th (skills-based lessons are split up by grade level and skill level, so the kiddos are properly placed in an appropriate small group). COVID information.

Fantastic Magic Camp (Online)
Details: Teaching life skills and confidence through magic, juggling, and puppets to kids ages 5-12 since 1993. Each day will be filled with online and offline Fantastic Magic, Juggling, Puppets, and Fun! The online classes run from 2-4pm every day, but the learning, fun, and excitement last much longer. Campers will receive a packet with all the materials they need before the start of the program. Each day they will be taught two magic tricks with the props included in their packet. There will be juggling, jokes, stories, and the usual Fantastic Magic Camp madness. Campers will also be given instructions on how they can create some magic using items they can find lying around the house. At the end of each magic class, campers will be given a link to a video that reviews the magic they just learned, so that they can practice the tricks when they go offline. Because the material packets need to be mailed to each camper, registration needs to be completed by March 5th, 2021. Anyone signing up after that date will have to arrange to pick up the teaching materials.

Details: My Coding Place offers virtual and studio STEM camps, from coding to robotics and AI. COVID information.
Great Graphics (Virtual): For ages 8+. Students will have fun engaging their artistic side in this Digital Art camp! Create and edit images, shapes, and text, and learn how to make photo collages, use selection tools, filters, digital brushes and more! Minecraft Mania Turtle Robots with Lua (Virtual): For ages 7+. By learning how to program computers in ComputerCraft, students gain extra control over their Minecraft worlds and can create new and exciting things. The Scholar Ship Spring Break Camp
Details: This camp is designed to help kids appreciate our beautiful planet and learn about climate change and how it is already affecting our lives. Kids will be learning about global warming, drought, wildfires, animal extinction, CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), etc. They will also use recycled materials to create fun art projects (using cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, corks, egg cartons, jar lids, and more). Details: Do you know some horse-crazy kids? What about a spring break horse camp!?
