Relishing Fall, Sweet Berry Farms Visit

The girls recently had a few half days of school, so we took advantage of the extra time and took a short road trip to Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls (less than an hour's drive from us in Austin). This family-run farm is lovely and offers a wide range of activities. The girls enjoyed making colored sand necklaces, jumping on a bounce pad, exploring the kid corn maze, taking pictures in the pumpkin patch, checking out the amazing goat "house," and sampling pumpkin ice cream. We definitely plan to return as we didn't get through all the activities. On our list for our next visit is the barrel train, a hayride, maybe stuffing a scarecrow, or riding horses (weekends only). I think we will definitely plan to return in May when (according to the Sweet Berry Farm seasonal calendar) much of the farm's produce is in season and ready to be picked/dug, including strawberries, blackberries, peaches, potatoes, and onions (you pay for what you harvest).
